English and Drama saw a number of our students go over to Omagh Integrated Primary School yesterday to deliver a dramatic excerpt from "The Witches" to P5 students during their Roald Dahl Day...They were absolutely brilliant and the primary pupils were spellbound!

I am writing to invite you to an important meeting, here at Drumragh, on Tuesday 19th September 2017, from 7.00pm until 8.30pm. I am urging you please to make every effort to attend.

I am sure you are concerned about the challenging world our young people are growing up in, with the pressures and anxieties they face all too often. You will also be aware of some of the very difficult times experienced by the school community last year. We are determined to take positive action on this - to do more - and we need your help.

One of our main priorities this year is to develop practical ways of instilling hope and growing resilience in our young people. We have already made a start on this. On Tuesday we need to consult you over the best ways forward from here.

The meeting will be facilitated by Marie Dunne and Sonia Montgomery, both of whom work within the Western Trust and are offering us the benefits of their expertise and support. The evening will be one of three such events, with the other two drawing in staff and students.

This is a very important consultation, in the interests of our young people’s safety, well-being and future success. Please join us.

Register your interest for our Event on Facebook

Tribute to Graham Peters

The Drumragh Integrated College family is devastated at the tragic loss of the unique and wonderful Graham Peters. Our hearts go out to his family and to all who have been touched by this truly great man.

Graham was originally from North Wales. He was very happily married and has three remarkable sons. He was the Head of English at Drumragh for over 10 years. He taught several subjects, to students of all ability levels and ages from 11 to 18. His main subject was English and he was also a committed pastoral tutor. He is remembered as inspirational by those who knew him, as was evident by the huge numbers of students, staff, governors and parents, past and present, who attended his funeral.
