The date

Dear Sirs,

I am writing to express my support for Development Proposal number 226, where it is proposed

to increase the enrolment of Drumragh Integrated College. My reasons for supporting the proposal

include ------------------.

Yours faithfully,

Your signature

Your name

The following are key points from the development proposal:

 (i)        The College is currently over-subscribed.

(ii)        The current Long Term Enrolment numbers are too low to cater for future trends.

(iii)       There is insufficient provision for integrated education in the Omagh area.

(iv)       There is a significant demand from parents, for the quality and type of education

provided by the College.

(v)        There is substantial parental frustration at a lack of places in the College.

(vi)       There is both a community-based and province-wide need and desire for greater integration.

The intentions of this development proposal are to:

1.         Increase the College’s admissions limit (the number allowed in

each year group 8-12) from 96 to 120.

2.         Increase the Sixth Form from 100 to 150 approximately.

3.         Increase the Long Term Enrolment number from 580 to 750 over a period of

5 years, expanding incoming year 8 groups by 24 year by year,

and increasing the Sixth Form in response to demand.

4.         Obtain mobile classroom accommodation proportionate to increases in student enrolment.

Please consider supporting this recommendation and asking others to do the same; our voice

needs to be heard.

Notice is hereby given that under Article 79 of the Education Reform (NI) Order 1989 that a proposal has been submitted to the Western Education and Library Board (WELB) by the Board of Governors of Drumragh Integrated College.
