Charity and Outreach

Drumragh Integrated College is committed to encouraging a culture of community spirit and generosity among its pupils. Students participate in a wide variety of charity work throughout the year and funds are used to support work in the local and global community. As a college, we are proud of the number of charity activities initiated and organised by our students.

  • Children In Need

Students participated in a non-uniform day and organised raffles and a range of fun activities to raise funds for this annual charity event.

  • Readathon Year 8

In addition to enjoying the pleasure of reading, Key Stage 3 students’ sponsorship goes to support the work of a local children’s cancer charity.

  • Community Nursing Home – Year 13

The enrichment programme offered as part of the year 13 Curriculum is an opportunity for students to use their skills to benefit others, including residents of local nursing homes.

  • Harvest Thanksgiving Service

Each Form Class donates a hamper of non-perishable food items to local charities, including St Vincent De Paul, for distribution to families within the Omagh Community.

  • Operation Christmas Child

This year students filled over one hundred shoe boxes with gifts suitable for children. The gifts are for distribution to children in poor circumstances than our own.
