Year 12 Craft Recruitment Visit

Some of our Year 12 pupils had the opportunity to visit Craft Recruitment in Omagh. We had a great morning and it was really interesting to see the facilities, to meet some of the staff and to ask lots of questions about the possibilities and opportunities that they offer. We had a fantastic morning!

Drumragh Integrated College Year 8s fundraised for and participated in Cancer Fund for Children’s sponsored ReadOn. Pictured with Sarah Clements from CFCNI is Nikola Duda and Cormac McElhill.

Congratulations to Bailie Young who gave a brilliant performance of "Bibia be ye ye" by Ed Sheeran in the Year 8-10 Pop song. Bailie placed 2nd in the Thomas Moore melodies with a beautiful performance of "The Last Rose of Summer".

Congratulations to Faith McFarland, year 9 who won two trophies in the West Tyrone Feis. She came first in two different singing sections in the Feis. Hopeful Minds Graduation Ceremony

Drumragh Integrated College has held its first ever graduation ceremony… for a group of year 8 students! They wore graduation gowns, mortar boards and received graduation certificates. They even followed tradition by throwing their mortar boards into the air.

This event celebrated a remarkable group of young people who have successfully completed a 12-week programme called ‘Hopeful Minds’. This is an exciting initiative that was founded in the US by iFred (the International Foundation for Research and Education on Depression) and is now being piloted in Northern Ireland. Remarkably, it centres around research showing that hope can be taught.
