Earlier this term, staff and students at Drumragh Integrated College celebrated an amazing achievement. Sean Gallagher, a year 11 student at the college, has become one of only a small number of people in the whole of Ireland to receive his glider pilot’s wings at the age of 14.
In order mark this outstanding success Sean’s instructors brought a glider to Drumragh, which certainly attracted some attention. Sean was then awarded his wings during a school assembly.

*Notice to ALL Year 13 parents and students as well as our Year 14 leavers. The Celebration of Success event to commend our 2018 GCSE and A-level students will now take place on the 17th April 2019.

Week 1 Beginning 3rd December 2018, 3.05-4.05PM, further information and timetable available below:

"Your child will be sitting the first of their GCSE English exams on the 9th January 2019. To help them with their preparation for this exam the English Department are running a number of revision classes. There will be several classes in the run up to the Christmas holidays with numerous sessions offered on different dates to ensure your child d...oes not miss out if one date does not suit them. We would strongly advise that pupils try to attend the three core sessions: Writing for Purpose and Audience; Reading Non-Fiction and Reading Media Texts. A sign-up sheet will be available for students on Friday of this week.

In addition to this a mock exam will be taking place in school the week commencing 10th December. This will give your child invaluable insight into the demands of the exam in a formal setting. Feedback from this mock exam will also enable them to highlight areas of strength, along with areas that need to be built upon. However, independent revision over the Christmas break will be essential to ensuring the best possible outcome from this exam."

On Thursday 29th November 2018 Drumragh Integrated College have the priviledge to host a whole school concert and talk by 23 year old Irish singer songwriter/actor Simon James based on the themes of Cyber Bullying and Online Safety.
